Coupon Organization

I have recently started clipping coupons again.  I stopped, well just because I was lazy.  But on a lark I stopped at the store on the way home from work last Sunday and picked up a Sunday copy of the Dallas Morning News.  I wanted to see if clipping coupons really made a difference anymore or if I should even bother.

I only clipped the coupons for products I will use and went to the store with a list.  The Verdict:  I saved $71.00 on that one trip just using coupons!  That is a nice chunk of change if I do say so myself.  I will keep getting the Sunday paper and talking the time to clip those coupons.

But this time I will make my chore just a little prettier….

The papers are retired but here is what I used:

My Creations Recipe / Photo Box Z1322

Cutting Template: Art & Soul®: Cooking Up Creativity

Lets Get Together Level 2 Paper Pack (you can choose your own)

Coordinating Inks

CTMH 1 1/4 punch (to make the dividers) Z1311

Paper Flowers (your choice)

Filigree Charms Z1269

Now you may ask why I used retired papers?  I am using retired papers on my personal project to use up some of the stash I have.  But I wanted to showcase the Box used because it is so much more than a recipe box.  I resisted buying it because I was not thinking outside the box and did not need another way of storing recipes.

That was until I saw the artwork from a sister consultant (Rebecca Altamirano) and the light bulb exploded! I completely scrap lifted her artwork … I loved it just the way it was.

So now I have a pretty little box to keep my coupons in while I am at at the local grocery store.  It just makes my day a little brighter.
