Chantilly

I am so ready for Crop Night but I have to wait for March 23, 2013.  It feels like forever since we were able to play together.   Because I know we are going to be catching up and doing a ton of laughter I went ahead and pre-cut this mini card so all I have to do is some sanding and stamping but still feel like I am getting something done while spending time with gang.

These are tiny little cards that I found on the CTMH consultant side of the website that will be perfect for slipping into lunches or briefcases to let someone know you are thinking of them.

The sentiment that I love  “Hello Tweety”.

You can also slip a couple into an overnight case to use as little thank you notes for a hostess.

Here is what I will be using:

Stamps Gone Wild

It is that time again… time to organize the wild stamp collection.

I have a fairly large stamp collection – and I find that amazing since I did not know how to stamp when I became a consultant.  Smile And with that collection comes some sort of organization but limited in size.

My first step is putting all of the stamps back into their proper drawers.  I have no idea how they get in other drawers but they do.

P1030038

And while I am doing this I am updating my excel spreadsheet that lists all of my stamps.  Now before you start to roll your eyes… the spreadsheet has kept me from duplicating stamp purchases and that means more money for PAPER!  Smile

I have also ordered Tabbed Dividers

They are a little more sturdy than the homemade paper tabs I have been using and I am almost certain they will fit.

While I am sorting and re-organizing I am also taking a hard look at each stamp and decided if I want to keep it or sell it.

P1030040

This is where the fun begins for YOU!

There are retired – hard to find stamps along with current stamps in this box and I am selling them for $5 each.  I am not done sorting so there will be more in this box when you see it in person.

I will be done with the organization by next crop night on MARCH 23, 2013.  This is one of those rare time I will say to bring money to crop.  Once these stamps are gone they are gone forever!  If you have bought stamps from me in the past then you know that they are in excellent condition.

You need to be here in person to buy the stamps. Mailing them out has gotten very expensive for you and me and I am trying to keep them cheap.

I hope to see you very soon!

Family Time–Small Rooms

I have told you in the past how we love to cram ourselves into the smallest room of the house for family time.  But when I woke up Wednesday afternoon this is where I found Kaela.

P1030028

She took over my side of the desk too so that she could use the computer (she grounded herself from her laptop).   Once I scooted her back to the “homework” side I was able to sit down and play.

P1030030

I started this card just before my work rotation and needed to get it finished.   Does it look familiar?  Look on page 27 of your catalog.  See it is the round card.  Round is good unless you are blonde like me then a standard cards works better.  Smile

Fast forward a couple of hours and Mike comes home with CANES chicken (Yummmmm – O)

After dinner we all come back upstairs for a little more homework time and family time.  Like always I am the last one up and I was working on this card

P1030032

When I looked around an noticed that I was the only one is the room and it was still stuffed with extra seating for the family.

After moving extra chairs so that I could walk around my kingdom I hunkered down and went back to work.

Did you notice that both cards are using the same paper pack?

Buzz And Bumble Paper Packet

I saw a sign recently that said

“small houses build tight families”

Well I have a big house but I think I still have a tight family.

I like it that way.
