It has been a very interesting week! Last Saturday was crop night so I decided that I needed to wash the puppies. Everybody outside… soap, towels, teen, puppies, mommy. Everybody was present. I was washing Radar and stood up so that I could get him rinsed and lost my balance – fell backwards and landed on the edge of the brick fire pit. One broken tailbone later and the puppies were clean.
Great – it is crop night and I could not sit…. now what? Tough I am having crop! I was not able to sit for very long and would have to get up and walk around but I was able to get some creative time in and I was able to play with my friends.
I had to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with the help of my work buddies I made it. The guys pulled me up out of my chair when I was stuck and fashioned a donut pillow out of blankets when I needed one. It did not take me long to run to the store to find a donut pillow that thing is a life saver.
Finally – my Oklahoma Tornado Relief stamp came in the mail and I was able to sit and get some cards made. I used the Retired Originals Card Confidence book page the First Impressions card. Then I grabbed my Dreamin’ paper pack – now I was cooking!
With the pattern and couple of sheets of paper I will be able to make
10 thank you cards.
My other excitement for the week is a new tool I found.
We R Memory Keepers - Envelope Punch Board
I have never been able to make my own envelopes and now with this board I am able to make over 60 different sizes! This is a card makers dream!
I found mine on Amazon.com.
