What in the world am I talking about?
My box of beautiful new cardstock, re-inkers, and stamp pads!
YOU EVEN GET A SNEAK PEEK!
YOU EVEN GET A SNEAK PEEK!
I placed my order for the cardstock before I even saw the colors - then saw them in the catalog after the fact. I thought they were pretty in the catalog but seeing them in person is so much better!
Warning: My photo does not even do them justice!
I am so excited and can not wait to start playing with them. But before I can play I have to do a little organization. If I was not a consultant I would just add these colors right into my stash. But since I am a consultant I have to take the retired papers out of the live cardstock and put it in the retired section then I have to re-label the whole stock. I keep the retired cardstock until I am sure I no longer have projects or pattern paper that uses that cardstock.
Since I store all of my supplies by rainbow there needs to be some movement in the racks to accommodate the new colors and while I am at it I am making fresh tags for each color. My other tags are looking like they want to retire.
This year I decided that I wanted to laminate each tag to keep them looking nice longer. After I cut out each circle I went over to Fed Ex "Kinkos" and used their lamination machine. I made one mistake... their laminate sheets are much thicker than what you can buy at Staples and I forgot to take that in consideration.
So here I am at Starbucks thinking I will be able to get out of the house for a little bit, blog, have coffee, and cut out little circles and the 1 1/2 inch circle punch will not even make a dent in the sheets. I am using one that I bought at Hobby Lobby before CTMH came out with one so it might be the punch but I really do not think so - that or I am a weakling....
So I am sitting here listening to a book and hand cutting little circles in the middle of Starbucks and getting the strangest looks from people. Am I not supposed to craft at Starbucks?
I guess it is a good thing that I put a couple of extra catalogs in my bag just on the off chance someone asks me what I am doing.
Wish me luck (hee hee)
Now I need to get back to cutting little circles.
Happy Crafting!
