My mom lives in a very small town and does not have access to a store to buy cards so I decided that I will make her an assortment of handmade cards to have at her house. I have made about 260 cards in the last couple of weeks. I made about 20 of each designs, gave mom some and kept some for myself. All of these cards are scrap lifted from the Wishes Card Book or other CTMH Consultants. I am going to take the design help where I can find it.
These are part of a of the “Just Because” card kit that CTMH had out a couple of years ago. I forgot I ordered it and just found it in the closet.
Here are some more of the “Just Because” Card kit and a design that I found on Split Coast Stampers. I have since cleaned up my mess and cannot find the stamp set I used for the flower and vase.
The “Grey” card is a birthday card using Grey Wool and Blush for the colors with the Treasure Life stamp set. The “Flower” card is from the “From Me to You” card set again from a couple of years ago that I just found in my closet again. Another birthday card (in back) is using the Topstitch paper pack along with “A Little Everything” Stamps. It is missing some stitching but I will add that stamp in a little while. The “Cup Cake” Card is using the “Cupcake Sprinkles” stamp set.
The final card is a “Sympathy” card that my mom requested. It is using “Treasure Life “Stamp set and the colors are: Buttercup, Chocolate and Crème Brulee. I thought it needed just a little pop of color so I also used baby pink.
I made one more card but since it is for Mothers day, and the “Mothers” in my life have not seen it yet I will wait to post until I get them in the mail. (hee hee)
