Happy National Scrapbooking day!!!!
YEA! Guess what I am going to be doing all day? I did all of my chores yesterday so that I could spend today catching up on listening to my Paperclipping Roundtable podcast and scrapbook till my fingers fall off.
So I finished working on Kaela’s Equest layouts this week and posted those photos. I the layouts to the album and was moving on to the next set of photos when I noticed some embellishments that I forgot to put on the Equest layouts. Normally this would not bother me but I bought these embellies for the sole purpose of these layouts. What did I do? I re-did the pages! I did not have to completely re-do them just a smart remodel.
So here are the Equest layouts 2.0
There is some glare from the lights on the photos but you get the general idea. I am not sure if my redneck background is coming out but I think she looks great in a pair of boots.
Once I was finished re-vamping Equest I moved on to Christmas Choir field trip photos. I was at a loss as to how to put these together because I do so many choir layouts for this kid so I pulled out my Cherish how to book and let my imagination wander. Once I had the general idea of combining 2 different layouts on one 2-page spread I was off and running.
I guess the moral of the story is … do not be afraid to pull apart your layouts and do them again if something is bothering you.
It is only paper – It is only paper – It is only paper
Keep repeating…
