Catalog Artwork

The artwork in this catalog is fantastic if I do say so myself.  I have a list in my wish book of the ones I want to scrap lift.  While checking my links today to make sure everything worked correctly I noticed something kind of wonderful.
If you click on the image of the catalog on the right side of my blog it will bring you  to the page on my CTMH website that lets you view the catalog online.  But under the catalog image I found this:

(Valid through July 2014)
Do you see the little link to recipes?  That is the list of products they used to make the artwork in the catalog!  Now you can print your own list and tuck it inside your catalog for future use.
How cool is that!

Back into layouts

After almost a month of nothing but card making it is time to get back to work on Kaela’s 9th grade album.  I am scheduled for a craft fair in April and I want to have this album done by then so I can use it as a demo.

I am going to show you this first layout only to point out the fact that even a full time scrapper can get rusty.  This one is not my best but it was the first layout that I have done in a while.

Now as you can see there is no journaling on these pages.  I was not there and the kid will not tell me what went on so it is what it is.  I know it was “A blast Mom” but that is it.   I used the flip side of the Tommy papers (retired) and some shimmer trim. The stamped images did not show up very well.

This is where the fun starts.  This layout is using the Scholastic papers (retired) and some of the embellies I have been buying and saving since Kaela was in Elementary  school.  Smile  I also found a company several years ago that created and sold custom high school papers and had them make up a couple of batches of Allen High School logo papers and embellies in the school colors.   We knew we were going to be here in Allen for the rest of time so I had no problem ordering these supplies and storing them away.  I am so glad I did!   Even though I am using contraband materials I love how I can integrate CTMH products for cute pages that are still one of a kind.

Ok these are my favorite so far.  I am using the For Always papers along with hand stitching.  The letters are from that high school hope box again.   A little black shimmer trim and what a layout.

These are Kaela’s favorite pages so far.  Laughing Lola was the perfect papers for these art pages.   Kaela said this layout looks like her.  That is a compliment!

Then there is the layout that is taking all day to do.  The hand stitching on this layout was much more intense than it looks!

Again I will be combining CTMH products along with product from the high school box.  I will post finished photos as soon as I am done.

I am happy that my layout are getting better and better each time I start a new one.

  Practice makes perfect.

Oh what a happy day it is.  The CTMH Spring / Summer catalog is live today.  So what is on your wish list?  Can I add to it?  Ok, Ok maybe not … but I wanted to remind you what the February Constant Campaign is.

Exciting News!!!

You have been waiting for years to be able to do this…. and Starting SATURDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2014 you will be able to.

What is it?

You can now add a single catalog to your order when using my website!

View idea book
Buy Catalog Now

Just click the Buy Now button on the blog link or search Item Number WC1141 while you are shopping to have a catalog added to your order.

The catalog price is only $3.95.

You can view the online version or order a copy of your very own.

I have already mailed out a catalog to customers that have placed an order during this past year – if you did not receive a catalog during this mail out and would like one the link will be live tomorrow.

This means no more waiting for me to put the catalog in the mail to you.  You will have your very own catalog right in the box with your order if you choose.

To go along with these changes:

I will no longer be mailing catalogs directly to customers.

CTMH is able to mail a catalog to you cheaper than I am able to so it makes more sense to have you order your own copy from my website.

I will still have catalogs on hand for CROP NIGHTS and Vendor Fairs but it is getting too expensive for me to mail them out.

The Spring / Summer 2014 Catalog is LIVE tomorrow.

I hope you love it as much as I do!
