Long time no see.
Sorry that it has been a hot minute since I touched base.
There is a very good reason, well a couple of good reasons.
1. I have gone back to school.
I did not want to say anything until after I was able to finish my first couple of classes and to really know that I could do this again. It has been 31 years since I took any kind of formal classes and WOW what a learning curve. I am following a professional dream that I have not been able to pursue before this time but I have been interested in this field since I started in healthcare way back in 1989.
I have an awesome mentor - that I have been watching for years enjoy her job and another mentor that I had no idea had become a coder since the time that we worked together in the ER. They are both being a sounding board and huge supporters.
My in life friends and family have also been very supportive of me and while they hide during my frantic semesters for their own safety, I know they are there because they throw food in my office and back away slowly.
I am only taking one class at a time for my own sanity so it will take a little while for me to finish the program and sit for my state test.
Wish Me Luck!
2. We have had a WEDDING!
Kaela & Quinn have tied the knot! We could not be more proud or happy. While they had a cruise wedding and it was not as hard to plan there was still decisions to be made and deadlines to be met. With the kids living out of state and the wedding taking place here I did what I could to help keep things running smoothly.
It takes a village people!
My classes will be starting again soon, so please bear with me while I am not producing videos. I have time to film but no time to edit. I am posting what crafty time I have on my facebook group.

Also for some reason I am not getting notifications of member requests so if it takes me a while to find your request - I am not ignoring you - facebook is just being facebook.
So that is life as it is at this moment in a nutshell. I hope all is well with you and yours and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
Hopefully I will talk to you soon.
