Have you wondered where I have been?
The Close To My Heart Annual Convention was held at Disneyland Hotel this year from July 13, 2011 to July 16, 2011. The Perry Family turned this convention into a a two-week road trip.
We went to:
Roswell, NM
Carlsbad, NM (Carlsbad Caverns National Park)
San Diego, CA (yes we went to the zoo)
Anaheim, CA (for the convention)
Las Vegas, NV
Hoover Dam
Grand Canyon National Park
Petrified Forest National Park
Painted Desert
and last but not least….
The Really Big Array in NM (A Mikey Thing)
We made it home this morning at about 2:00 am and went straight to bed. When I woke up I found that the Fed Ex Man has been very busy at my house while I was gone, and that Sara from next door has been a very busy girl playing post office to make sure that all my packages were inside the house. I have the gathering order that was place just before I left sorted and ready to be delivered but the box of catalogs will have to wait just a couple more days before I am allowed to put them in the mail.
Speaking of catalog..
One of the perks of going to convention is that we are able to buy products from the catalog in “bundles” before you can. I ordered 6 bundles and as I was flipping around the catalog it seems that with these 6 bundles I have almost every new item that was listed in the Fall / Winter 2011 Catalog.
