Hybrid Scrapbooking

Say What?

Hybrid scrapbooking is combining two different forms of scrapbooking.

In just one layout I am going to combine:  decorative scrapbooking and pocket scrapbooking - yes together....

I have been holding this secret ever since October when I went to the the CTMH Making Connections event here in Dallas.  I have been wanting to blab but I also knew that I would be featuring the White Pines paper pack this month during our workshops and wanted to give you just one more peak at some artwork.

These are the layouts we worked on during our meeting.  Ok well all of the other ladies worked on theirs but I was too busy running around taking photos and talking so I finished my layouts at home during the October crop night.

Supplies Used:
White Pines Paper Packet X7200B
White Pines Complements X7200C
Red Enamel Gems Z3090
Picture My Life - White Pines Z3176
Retired Marker Colors (use what you have)

I left some room on the layouts for journalling and a photos but the more I look at the finished project the more I love it! You can use the layouts in the same album as your pocket scrapbooking while you are working on your December photos.

December Photos?

Yes!

Take a couple of photos a day, it does not have to be anything major, just life and at the end of December take the photos that you have printed along with the above layouts and pop them into your pocket album using the Picture My Life cards.  It is a super FAST way to get your holiday memories in an album licitly split!

This makes me so happy!
