Designer Mini Frames

I have been sitting on another secret.  I have another layout that I worked on during the Dallas Making Connections event that I have been saving just for today.
Want to see?

This layout features the Designer Mini Frames.
 (Holiday Expressions Catalog page 31).

I know you are wondering why there are little sheets of paper popping up out of the frames.

Two reasons:
1. To show that you can slide photos in after sticking the frames on the page.
2. To remind me what size photo goes inside the frame.

It is such a simple layout but one that will stand out with black and white photos in the frames and it took just a few minutes to put together.

Photos will be in the frames and on the mats that are cut from Smoothie cardstock.  I left room for journaling that will be typed out and printed on vellum so that it matches the layout.

The stamp set that was used is In Review (C1622)

To be honest... when I first saw this stamp I was thinking about chronological scrapping.  Yearly family albums or a child's' school year album - not once did my brain think outside of the box to use the images other than for a "time" reference.   So when the instructions said to just use the quatrefoil pattern image I was scratching my head.

Now remember I did not work on the layouts during the Making Connections event because I was being a social butterfly so I had to stop and READ the directions... it was a hard thing to do.  (hee hee)

In the end I have a beautiful non-traditional holiday layout that I can not wait to use in my personal albums.  Let me give you the supply list so you can make one of your own.
